1st March was World Book Day. Once again children and grown-ups had a great time as we became our favourite book characters for the day.
There were lots of great characters to be seen.
Reception
“I dressed up as Cinderella,I liked it because we did fun things like making candles and Peter Pan was on. The two boys dressed up as girls made me laugh.” Caitlin 6yrs.
Year 1
“I liked the person who had a moustache and a gun, I think he was in Year 3 and I liked Lucas in his dressing up outfit, he looked well cool.” Cameron 5yrs” heading on to 6”

“When we came in, everyone tried to guess what you were. We were trying to guess what Brooke and Alicia was and I didnt get it until they told me.”Sophie aged “7 nearly 8”

“We did lots of activities,like colouring and we did this other one, and we had to put words into sentences. I dressed up as a pirate.” Gabrielle 8yrs.
Year 4/5S
“I dressed up as Cowboy Bill, we got to do a conga around the hall, then people could see our costumes.” Jordan 7 yrs.

“I was Princess Jasmine. I liked dressing up and walking round showing everybody. Charlotte 7 yrs old.

“I think it was good because I like dressing up and we dont usually dress up. Jacob and Lewis made me laugh because they dressed up as two ugly sisters from Cinderella. Later in the day we made a bookmark, we decorated it and coloured it, then we laminated it and I now use it in school at silent reading.” George 10yrs.
“I just liked it when we went to the hall, and those two boys dressed up as ladies, they were funny. When the little ones were dressed up they were cute and its very good to be reading, I like reading Bratz books.” Cara 9yrs
A winner was chosen from each Year group and given a book token as a prize.
